The Civil Defense Directorate exhorted the public to take utmost care against the possibility of continuous spring-time thunder rains pour down, as of Sunday until next coming Friday, on some parts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, according to reports from the National Center for Meteorology. The directorate pointed namely to the regions of Assir, Baha, Jazan and Makkah, as they are to expected be affected by the weather and down poured rain, ranging from medium to torrential, accompanied by actively rapid winds that may lead to flash flooding, while rains are expected to be in medium-size, overall, on Najran region, in particular. It also called on the public to take care against the possible risks, under such weather and avoid flash floods' waterways and their ponds, in addition to abide by the instructions of the civil defense aired via various media outlets as well as being posted on the social networking websites, to preserve their safety.
