The Civil Defense Directorate warned citizens and expatriates to take utmost precaution while going out in the wake of a forecast about inclement weather and heavy rain accompanied by thunder in various regions of the Kingdom from Wednesday till Monday. The General Authority of Meteorology and Environmental Protection predicted that there would be rain and thunder in several regions, including Tabuk, the Northern Border Region, Al-Jouf and Hail as well as in some governorates of Makkah, Madinah, Baha and Asir, and parts of Riyadh, Al-Qassim and the Eastern Province. The Civil Defense Directorate warned the public to have utmost caution while approaching pools of water or crossing valleys and flood passages over the coming few days. Meanwhile, several parts of Baha region witnessed moderate rain on Monday.
