Official Spokesman of the General Directorate of Narcotics Control (GDNC) Captain Mohammed Al-Nujaidi said that the security pre-emptive follow-up of activities of criminal networks, which plan to smuggle narcotics into the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, has resulted in foiling an attempt to smuggle (5,200,000) amphetamine pills hidden in a shipment of orange fruit. In a statement, Captain Al-Nujaidi said that four members involved in the case were arrested, including two citizens and two Syrian nationals. He added that the detainees were apprehended and faced initial legal procedures before being sent to the Public Prosecution.
