The General Directorate of Civil Defense today issued weather warnings for several regions across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia lasting from today till next Monday. Asir, Baha, Jizan, Najran and Makkah regions are expected to be affected by moderate to heavy rain and brisk winds from today till next Monday, while Riyadh, Hail, and Madinah regions will be affected by moderate to heavy rain and brisk winds on Friday and Saturday. The weather conditions are expected to include Eastern, Northern Borders, Al-Jawf, and Tabuk regions where it is expected that the rain will be moderate in their entirety, which may lead to torrential runoff. The Civil Defense called on citizens and residents to be wary of the severe conditions, to stay away from places that could flood, and to abide by the Civil Defense's instructions and updates announced through various media outlets.
