Saudi Press: Saudi Arabia Announces 11 Projects and Initiatives within Only 90 Days
Published in Saudi Press Agency on 04 - 04 - 2021

Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas.
Eqtisadiah and Al-Riyadh newspapers reported in their editorials that since the announcement of Saudi Vision in 2016, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia moves forward at an accelerated pace. Moreover, when HRH the Crown Prince announces 11 initiatives and projects within only 90 days, this only affirms that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is proceeding in its development process.
During the Periodic Government Communication Press Briefing that was held on Wednesday, with the participation of Acting Minister of Media Dr. Majed Al-Qasabi; the Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture Eng. Abdulrahman Al-Fadhli and the Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Bandar Al-Khorayef, 11 Saudi initiatives and projects were reviewed, as they will have major local and global effects. These recently launched initiatives and projects are interconnected and present the Saudi economy's progress with the Kingdom's 2030 Vision, the newspapers added.
The newspapers further said that the "Shareek" program, HRH the Crown Prince inaugurated recently, will support and enable local companies to unlock new local investments valued at SAR 5 Trillion, which will provide 1.8 million jobs. These local investments will tremendously support the "Made in Saudi" Program, which will raise the share of non-oil exports in GDP to 50% by 2030.
The newspapers also pointed to the "Saudi Green" and the "Middle East Green" initiatives that will work together on protecting the planet.
The Saudi projects and initiatives aim to increase the quality of life as the most important targets of Saudi Vision and to make the Saudi economy attractive and thriving, the newspapers concluded.
In another context, Al-Yaum newspaper reported in its editorial that the Kingdom's initiative to end the Yemeni crisis and reach a comprehensive political resolution based on the three references, comes in continuation of the Kingdom's concern for the security and stability of Yemen and the region.
The initiative also aims to end the human suffering of the brotherly Yemeni people, and affirms the Kingdom's support for efforts to reach a comprehensive political resolution between the Yemeni parties, the newspaper added.
Saudi Arabia exerts all efforts to establish peace in the region and the world. If the international community seeks to promote peace and stability in the region, it must support the efforts and initiatives of the Kingdom and put an end to the suspicious Iranian behavior and regimes that support terrorism and seek to destroy the world, the paper concluded.
