Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Yaum and Al-Bilad newspapers reported in their editorials that the sustained efforts being exerted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in order to promote regional security and stability is a firm approach in the government's strategies since the country's unification by its founder, and until this prosperous era, under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince. The newspapers further said that the visit of Prime Minister of the Republic of Iraq Mustafa Al-Kadhimi, along with the discussions and signing of agreements that have been conducted, confirm the depth and development of shared interests between the two countries in various fields, as the cooperation between the countries has been strengthened for the benefit of the two peoples by signing several cooperation agreements. This strategic relationship is also a strong pillar for facing crises, challenges, and major dangers aimed at undermining the security and stability of the region. The visit affirms keenness of the leaderships to further promote and strengthen cooperation, as the Saudi-Iraqi relations have witnessed a tremendous development at all political, economic, and security fields. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has always affirmed its full commitment and support for the security and stability of Iraq and its aspirations for development, the newspapers added. The visit also reflects the historical cooperation between the two brotherly countries through their partnership in the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), in order to stabilize oil markets, as well as the Kingdom's support for Iraq's efforts to confront extremism and combat terrorism. In another context, Eqtisadiah and Al-Riyadh newspapers reported in their editorials that the inauguration of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Council of Economic and Development Affairs, of the "Shareek" Program, which has the aim of developing a stronger partnership between the government and the private sector, confirms the Kingdom's determination to assume a greater global position and to move forward towards sustainable development in accordance with a modern vision to enhance effective partnership between the public and private sectors. The newspapers added that the new Shareek program will help the private sector create hundreds of thousands of new jobs and will boost the contribution of the private sector to GDP by up to 65% by the end of the decade as part of the goals of Vision 2030. The huge programs launched by HRH the Crown Prince during the last period make the Kingdom a model of leadership, as the government supports the Saudi private sector with its major global companies, such as SABIC and Aramco, to achieve the Kingdom's goal, the newspapers concluded.
