President of the Arab Parliament Adel bin Abdulrahman Al-Asoumi praised the pioneering role played by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, in consolidating coexistence, moderation, tolerance and countering hate and extremism speech. In his speech at the 31st International Conference of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, which kicked off here today, Al-Asoumi stressed that enhancing the dialogue among different religions and cultures is not only the responsibility of the religious institutions, but it is a participatory responsibility that requires the integration of the efforts of all educational, media and legislative institutions. The President of the Arab Parliament valued the important role played by King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz International Centre for Interreligious and Intercultural Dialogue (KAICIID), noting that the dialogue among different religions and cultures has become a matter of real interest, especially among the Arab leaders.
