King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz International Centre for Interreligious and Intercultural Dialogue (KAICIID) launched on May 15th, the Cordoba Forum for Coexistence, with participation of 21 international organizations, to celebrate the International Day of Living Together in Peace, in Cordoba, Spain. The forum will continue for several days. The Forum is co-organized by the Paradigma Cordoba Foundation; the Nicholas Puech Foundation; Salam for Cultural Communication; and the Municipality of Cordoba. The Forum aims at exchanging expertise and best practices inspired by the success stories of others, coordinating efforts and making a tangible contribution to a world that generates inspiration for coexistence in peace and security, as well as delivering a global message of coexistence, respect for diversity, acceptance of pluralism and the promotion of common citizenship for all humanity. Secretary General of KAICIID Faisal bin Muammar delivered a speech on behalf of the founding partners of the Cordoba Forum, expressing his happiness to be at this global Forum which brings together more than 200 participants from about 40 different religions and cultures in this extraordinary city, Cordoba, a place that represents all forms of coexistence and tolerance.
