Saudi Stock Exchange Main Index Ends Trading Higher, at 8,682.11 Points

The Saudi Stock Exchange's main index ended trading higher here today, gaining 14.45 points to close, at 8,682.11 points.
The total value of the trading reported was SR7.8 billion, while the toll of shares traded was more than 220 million, divided into over 325,000 deals.
While the stocks of only 59 companies ended the trading higher, 125 companies' shares slumped.
Thus, the decliners outnumbered the advancers .
On the other hand, the spread between the advancers and decliners stocks ranged from 09.98% to 04.44%.
For its part, the Saudi Parallel Equity Market Index (NOMU) ended the day lower, losing 175.27 points to close, at 24,849.97 points.
Valuation, at NOMU was SR73 million, with an overall tally of more than 555,000 stocks traded and divided into as many as 1,639 deals.
