Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Yaum newspaper reported its editorial that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has exerted unprecedented efforts to achieve quality of life at all levels, as part of plans and strategies of its Vision 2030. The paper added that National Transformation Program (NTP) in Saudi Arabia is working to achieve the 17 sustainable development goals by 2030, which adopted by the United Nations, as such goals would effectively contribute to confront the challenges facing the world. The paper further added that Saudi Arabia's NTP contributed to achieve the 30th rank in the global food security index (GFSI), building a strong traffic safety system which contributed to the reduce the accident rate per 100,000 people by 41% between 2016 and 2019, increasing the share of women in labor market to reach 31.5% by the first half of 2020. The paper concluded that NTP helped to get the rate of compliance with the wage protection system (WPS) for expatriate workers for the third quarter of 2019 reached 73.3%. in addition to make Saudi Arabia ranked the first place globally in business environment reforms. Al-Bilad newspaper reported in its editorial that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has exerted unprecedented and unremitting efforts in fighting against terrorism in all its forms and manifestations, while Iranian regime is supporting the militias and terrorist groups in region and the world in violation of international laws and norms. The paper added Saudi Arabia always seeks to disseminate the noble values and tolerance, rejecting hate speech that is fueled by terrorist groups, rejecting also any defamation of religions under the pretext of freedom of expression or any attempts to link Islam with terrorism. The paper concluded that in this regard, Saudi Arabia continues its great efforts to support global civilized dialogue and the values of communication, tolerance and coexistence, through its pioneering initiatives, in addition to its continuous support to enhance these values at all levels.
