Saudi Stock Exchange Main Index Ends Trading Higher, at 8,601.07 Points

Saudi Stock Exchange's main index ended trading higher here today, gaining 56.13 points to close, at 8,601.07 points.
The total value of the trading reported was over SR12.4 billion, while the toll of shares traded was more than 470 million, divided into over 480,000 deals.
While the stocks of 100 companies ended the trading higher, 87 companies' shares slumped.
In terms of the percentage spread between the highest and the lowest stocks, it ranged from 09.96% to 04.82%.
For its part, the Saudi Parallel Equity Market Index (NOMU) ended the day gaining 270.71 points, to close, at 14,978.97 points, with a valuation of more than SR54 million and an overall tally of more than 780,000 stocks traded and divided into as many as 1,886 deals.
