Saudi Press: HRH Crown Prince Speech Confirmed Saudi Arabia's Advancement in Numbers
Published in Saudi Press Agency on 15 - 11 - 2020

Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas.
Al-Riyadh and Al-Bilad newspapers reported in their editorials that Saudi Vision 2030 confirmed that it was a lifeline to rebuild Saudi Arabia on strong and solid foundations enabling it to rediscover its capabilities and potentials to bring them to the highest stages of development and growth.
The newspapers added that under the supervision of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, HRH the Crown Prince led the mission of building Saudi Arabia, armed with knowledge, experience, spirit of youth and perseverance to re-explore Saudi Arabia's strengths.
The speech of HRH the Crown Prince was characterized by high transparency about Saudi Arabia's march and the progress it has achieved in the vision's objectives of the ambitious development and the strength of the national economy despite the challenges it faces due to the decline in oil prices and the repercussions of the Coronavirus pandemic.
HRH the Crown Prince reviewed in numbers the achievements of the past years and the aspirations of the wise leadership; for the sake of a better future for the citizen to move forward in implementing a comprehensive and balanced development policy to achieve the aspirations of citizens for adequate housing, quality of life, stimulate the labor market and raise the rates of Saudization, the newspapers added.
The newspapers concluded that despite the devastating effects of the Coronavirus pandemic on global economies, Saudi Arabia was better off, thanks to the advantages of the vision. Today's most prominent achievements can be summarized in having a strong economy that depends on diversifying sources of income, reducing the unemployment rate to less than 12 %, developing the tourism and entertainment sector, supporting Saudi sports, solving the housing problem, and consolidating human rights; and all that is mentioned remains some of the countless list of the Vision's achievements.
In another context, Al-Yaum newspaper said in its editorial that the statement of the Official Spokesman of the Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen Brigadier General Turki Al-Malki that the Joint Coalition Forces have intercepted and destroyed several attacks launched by the Iranian-backed terrorist Houthi militia to target civilians and civilian objects in the Southern Region confirms that Saudi Arabia has the strength, vigilance and permanent ability to repel any aggression and terrorist activity.
The newspaper added that the speech of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques stated that Saudi Arabia affirms the seriousness of the Iranian regime's regional project, rejects its interference in the affairs of internal countries, its support for terrorism and extremism and calls on the international community to take a stand firm towards Iran to prevent it from obtaining weapons of mass destruction, developing the ballistic missile program and threatening peace and security.
These data, which came in the speech of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques at the opening of the works of the 1st year of the 8th session of the Shura Council, confirmed Saudi Arabia's policy towards these Iranian behaviors that continue to support terrorist militias to carry out more crimes and attacks, the newspaper concluded.
