Saudi Stock Exchange's main index was down on closing here today, losing 46.53 points, to end trading, at 8244.82 points The total value of trading reported was over SR9.7 billion, while the toll of shares traded was more than 400 million, divided into as many as 350,000 deals. While the stocks of 58 companies ended the trading with higher values, 123 companies' shares slumped. In terms of the spread between the highest and the lowest stocks, it ranged from 9.98% to 3.58%. On the other hand, the Saudi Parallel Equity Market Index (NOMU) closed the day gaining 1763.67 points to close, at 13972.40 points, with a total valuation over SR53 million and a tally of more than 580,000 traded stocks, divided into 1,820 deals.
