Saudi Stock Exchange's main index closed trading higher here today, gaining 30.34 points to stood, at 7,530.31 points. The total value of the trading reported was over SR5.5 billion, while the toll of shares traded was more than 282 million, divided into 255,000 deals. While the stocks of as many as 148 companies ended the trading with high values, 35 companies' shares slumped. Coming to the spread between the highest and the lowest stocks, it ranges from 9.98% to 1.63%. For its part, the Saudi Parallel Equity Market Index (NOMU) closed higher, too, gaining 62.46 points to end trading over 8,186.50 points, with a valuation of over SR19 million and a tally of more than 330,000 traded stocks, divided into 718 deals.
