The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud made a phone call today to President Xi Jinping of the People's Republic of China. During the call, they discussed the work of the G20 being presided over by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia this year and the efforts made within its meetings to address the COVID-19 pandemic. The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques pointed out that the Kingdom is keen to work with the G20 countries to serve the peoples, support the global economy and mitigate the pandemic's implications. For his part, the President of China congratulated the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques on the achievements made by the work of the G20 which had a vital role in addressing the challenges emanating from the pandemic as well as the Kingdom's pivotal role in coordinating cooperation among th parties. The two sides reviewed strategic relations between the two countries and ways of enhancing them in various fields.
