The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud made a phone call here today to President Xi Jinping of the People's Republic of China. During the call, efforts to combat the new Corona virus were discussed. The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques congratulated His Excellency on the success of the efforts made by China in facing this pandemic, praising the distinguished experiences gained by health institutions, in China, in dealing with this crisis, and the importance of benefiting from the distinguished Chinese experience, in combating the spread of this epidemic. For his part, the Chinese President praised the close relations between the two countries, praising the initiative of the Kingdom to extend a helping hand to China, at the beginning of the crisis, stressing China's desire to coordinate with the relevant authorities in the Kingdom to cooperate in combating this epidemic, by all possible means. The Chinese President expressed appreciation for the leadership role played by the Kingdom as the chairman of the G20 summit and its efforts made for the success of the extraordinary summit which was held yesterday and headed by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.
