GCC Ministers of Industry have reiterated their determination on supporting the industrial sector in its capacity as one of the important pillars of the process of economic development. The remarks of the Ministers came at their 23rd meeting, held here on Monday. Addressing the meeting, Kuwaiti Minister of Trade and Industry Abdullah Al-Taweel, who is also the Head of the GCC Industrial Cooperation Committee, said the meeting takes place at the time when the world is witnessing swift developments and changes. He underscored the importance of exerting intensive efforts for removing all obstacles that might face the process of trade exchange among the GCC member states. The GCC groups the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the Untied Arab Emirates, Oman, Qatar and Bahrain.
