The Jeddah branch of the World Assembly of Muslim Youth (WAMY) has provided its sponsored students in Yemen with medical equipment and instruments to be used for their training and practical application. Dr Abdul Wahab Noorwali, the Assistant Secretary General of WAMY, said that this dispatch came within the framework of the university sponsorship that WAMY is committed to, which involves securing study seats, accommodation, transportation, pocket money, and other necessities for the sponsored students. 'The dispatched equipment included 31 blood pressure monitors, 2 blood glucose sensor, 22 blood sugar testing equipment (accutrend al phaset), carton of glucotide, stegmomanometers, medial kits, and thermosccan', he pointed out. The consignment also included 205 medical reference books, 8 medical notes, and 162 medical journals, he added. It is worth mentioning that WAMY sponsors as many as 435 university students in Yemen belonging to different nationalities.
