As part of its efforts to spread knowledge and raise awareness among youth, the Riyadh-based World Assembly of Muslim Youth (WAMY) sent educational and cultural books to the Republic of Kyrgyzstan in response to requests made by educational institutions in this Central Asian country. Dr Abdulwahab Noorwali, WAMY's Assistant Secretary General said that the dispatch included copies of the Holy Quran and translation of its meanings into Kyrgyz language as well as reference books such as (Pillars of Islam) in Kyrgyz language, (General Introduction to Islam) by the Late Sheikh Ali Tantawi, exegesis of the 30th part Quran) in Kyrgyz language, in addition to Islamic introductory flyers and pamphlets. Noorwali pointed out that WAMY had distributed around 50,000 cultural and reference books to a number of countries following requests from educational institutions, cultural centers as well as researchers and individuals interested in Islam.
