The Ministry of Health said in a statement today that 3,717 new confirmed cases of Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) have been reported in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, bringing the total number to 112,288 cases, including 33,515 active cases receiving necessary medical care. Of these, there are 1,693 critical cases, while the health condition of the rest is stable. As many as 1,615 cases have recovered, bringing the total recoveries to 77,954. "The new confirmed cases include 53% Saudi citizens and 47% non-Saudi residents. The females represent 32% of the cases, while the males represent 68%. Only 4% of the reported cases are older persons, 11% are children and 85% are adults," the Ministry of Health said. The Ministry of Health also said that 36 new deaths have been reported; bringing the total deaths to 819. Regarding the lab tests in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as many as 22,139 new lab tests have been conducted, bringing the total tests to date to 1,019,812. The Ministry called on whoever has symptoms or would like to check-up, to use the self-assessment service in MAWID application, and inquire or consult the Health Center (937) around the clock.
