Assistant Minister of Health Dr. Mohammed Al-Abdulaali, who is also spokesperson of the Health Ministry, said that 2235 new COVID-19 cases were reported today in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, adding that the new cases were reported in many cities and governorates in the Kingdom. He pointed out that the total cases tested positive for COVID-19 in the Kingdom reached 74795 cases, including 28728 active cases and 384 critical cases. He also pointed out that the cases confirmed today represent 59% for non-Saudis and 41% for Saudi nationals. The number of the new recoveries is 2148, bringing the total number of recoverees to 45668, Dr. Al-Abdulaali said, adding that the number of the new deaths is 9, bringing the total death toll to 399. Dr. Al-Abdulaali said that the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases worldwide is 5424718 cases, of which 2175605 cases have been cured to date. The COVID-19 death toll has jumped to 345296. With regard to the tests at the laboratories, Dr. Al-Abdulaali disclosed that 18545 new tests are conducted, bringing the total number of the tests to 722079 until now.
