The Ministry of Health said in a statement today that 2171 new confirmed cases of Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) have been reported in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, bringing the total number to 91,182 cases, including 22,444 active cases receiving necessary medical care. Of these, there are 1321 critical cases, while the health condition of the rest is stable. As many as 2,369 cases have recovered, bringing the total recoveries to 68,159. The Ministry also pointed out that the cases confirmed today represent 55% for non-Saudis and 45% for Saudi nationals, adding that the number of the new deaths is 30, bringing the total death toll to 579. With regard to the tests at the laboratories, the Health Ministry disclosed that 16,976 new tests are conducted, bringing the total number of tests to 870,963 until now. He called on whoever has symptoms or would like to check-up, to use the self-assessment service in MAWID application, and inquire or consult the Health Center (937) around the clock.
