The Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture showed indicators related to the desert locusts situation and movement, in the different regions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), during May as well as June 2020, reasserting that the situation is under control as exploring and combat teams are on alert to carry on with their intensive tasks to eradicate the lesion, in addition to following up the situation in neighboring countries, in addition to rapid intervention plans set to thwart locusts' swarms as they invade the border areas. On the indicators of the threat of the lesion, the ministry reasserted that the current situation of the locusts could be classified as Orange or Yellow light, in neighboring Oman and Yemen, while the threat is Red light, in the Horn of Africa countries, for the spread of the lesion has taken more than seven months, now, with great dense and in wide range areas.
