Spokesman of the Ministry of Health Dr. Mohammed Al-Abdulaali said that 518 new cases were reported today in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In a press conference today, Dr. Al-Abdulaali said that the new cases were reported in Jeddah (195), Madinah (91), Riyadh (84), Makkah (58), Dammam (38), Taif (13), Qatif (5), Jubail (4), Ras Tanura (3), Yanbu (3), Jazan (3), Qurayyat (2), Lith (2), Twal (2), Abha (2), Muwayh (2), Quwaiya (2), Buraidah (1), Unaizah (1), Khobar (1), Dhahran (1), Khamis Mushait (1), Hofuf (1), Jafr (1), Adham (1) and Khulais (1). Dr. Al-Abdulaali also said that the total cases tested positive for COVID-19 in the Kingdom reached 6,380 cases, of which 5,307 cases are active cases receiving medical care, and their health condition is mostly stable; with the exception of 71 cases receiving intensive care. The number of new recoveries is 59, bringing the total recoveries to 990 cases. The number of new deaths is 4, bringing the total deaths to 83 cases. Dr. Al-Abdulaali also said that the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases worldwide is more than 2,000,000 cases, of which 520,000 cases have been cured to date. The COVID-19 death toll has jumped to 138,000.
