Under the chairmanship of Health Minister Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah, the COVID-19 Follow-up Committee held its 44th meeting today. During the meeting, all relevant COVID-19 updates and reports were reviewed. The committee discussed the epidemiological situation globally, as well as the cases reported locally. The new cases are distributed as follows: Madinah 34, Jeddah 30, Makkah 21, Tabuk 17, Riyadh 13, Buraidah 9, Qatif 6, Hofuf 4, Khobar 3, Al-Ras 3, Najran 3, Mahayel Asir2, Al-Khafji 2, Dhahran 2, Dammam 1, Khamis Mushait 1, Ras Tanura 1, Al-Wajh 1, and Duba1, bringing the accumulative number of COVID-19 infections in the Kingdom to 2039 cases, including 1663 diagnosed as active and they are receiving necessary medical care and are in stable condition, among them 41 cases receiving intensive care.
