Sharon instructs army to step up war on terrorism ahead of Gaza

Quds city, Sept 26, SPA -- Prime Minister Ariel Sharon on Sunday said he has ordered the army to step up its war on
Palestinian nationalist fighters ahead of a planned withdrawal from the Gaza Strip.
Sharon made the comments during the weekly meeting of the
Israeli Cabinet after a recent wave of violence in Gaza.
He told the Cabinet that he has instructed the defense
establishment "to strengthen the war on terrorism" to
make sure the withdrawal doesn't look like Israel is
fleeing, participants at Sunday's meeting said.
