King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center's project for clearing mines (Masam) in Yemen demined 3,556 mines during the second week of March 2020, including 3 antipersonnel mines, 345 anti-tank, 2,634 unexploded ordnance, and 574 explosive devices. Since the beginning of the project, 151,983 landmines have been dismantled after they had been planted by the Houthi militias, in Yemen, claiming lives, serious injuries or amputation of organs of children, women and the elderly.
