A number of muftis of countries have praised Saudi Arabia's participation in Al-Azhar International Conference, stressing that it comes to represent major roles that the Kingdom is playing in serving Islam, combating terrorism, rejecting extremism, and spreading moderation and a culture of tolerance and harmony throughout the world. In statements on the sidelines of the conference being held in Cairo, the muftis appreciated great efforts being exerted by the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for serving the Two Holy Mosques and caring for pilgrims and Umrah performers in line with its pioneering roles in the Islamic world. They included Mufti of the Republic of Mauritania Sheikh Ahmed Ould Murabet, Mufti of Republic of Ukraine Sheikh Ahmed Tamim and others.
