A number of scholars and intellectuals of the National Festival for Heritage and Culture (Al-Janadriyah)'s guests in its 29th year have expressed their appreciation and thanks to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for his efforts exerted for the service of Islam and Muslims. They emphasized that the dialogues, which are going on the sidelines of Al-Janadriyah, are proof indications that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia seeks for the convergence among the followers of religions and opening a dialogue with the other to unify views in order to remove the obstacles that hinder a constructive dialogue aims at rapprochement and coexistence among all peoples. In statements to Saudi Press Agency (SPA(, they stressed that the Kingdom provides a wonderful model for all this convergence aiming to the rapprochement among all instead of turning away from the dialogue and putting obstacles in front of it. Also, they highlighted the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to stand firmly against all actions targeting the Islamic faith and trying to distort the image of Islam. Among those scholars and intellectuals are Chairman of Quran and Sunnah Society in Sudan, Sheikh Othman Abdullah Al-Haboub; Mauritania Mufti Sheikh Ahmed Al-Murabet Al-Shanqiti, and Chairman of Ansar al-Sunnah Al-Muhammadiyah Group in the Arab Republic of Egypt, Sheikh Abdullah Shaker Al-Gandbi.
