On Behalf of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Fahd Bin Abdulaziz, Prince Abdulmajeed Bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of Makkah Region, was honored today by gracing the washing ceremony of Ka'abah. At the Grand Mosque in Makkah, he was received by the General President of the Two Holy Mosques Affairs, Sheikh Saleh Bin Abdulrahman Al-Hussayen. Then, Prince Abdulmajeed told reporters that this day was a historic day for him and all participants in this great religious occasion. He added that six large projects costing between SR 25 to 30 billion will be completed soon. The ceremony was attended by Ulema (Muslim scholars), Cabinet ministers, senior officials, members of the diplomatic corps from Islamic countries who are accredited to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and a group of citizens.
