Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Riyadh newspaper said in its editorial that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia receives the first day of the new year 2020 with the hope of happy events at all levels locally, regionally and internationally, and its civilized achievement will continue to be at the forefront of the world's countries in security, stability, and prosperity. The paper said that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has a huge civilizational project, and strives to make the world a safer place. Al-Yaum newspaper said in its editorial that the leadership has been hitting with an iron hand the outlaw, and chasing terrorists everywhere to punish them. The paper said that the held regular cabinet's session, chaired by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, yesterday, noted the efforts of the Presidency of the State Security and its employees to track down terrorist elements that try to disturb the security and stability of the Kingdom. The paper added that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia fights and condemns various terrorist acts at home and everywhere, as it has condemned the terrorist attacks by terrorist militias supported by the Iranian regime against the American forces present in Iraq within the international coalition to counter ISIS, affirming that these terrorist attacks have not been able to violate the sovereignty of Iraq or compromise its security and stability. Al-Bilad newspaper said in its editorial that the Cabinet strengthened the culture sector and its role in serving the civilized role of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, by transferring the national heritage activity from the Tourism Commission to the Ministry of Culture, which is an important step; especially since the cultural heritage in all regions constitute a vital part of the national culture identity.
