Mauritanian Siamese Twins " Mohammed and Fadeel" arrived with their family here yesterday upon the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense. The Siamese twins were transferred to King Abdullah Specialist Children Hospital of the Ministry of National Guard to study their case and the possibility of separating them. The father of the twins expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to the Kingdom's leadership for the warm reception and , generous hospitality. The father added that the transfer of the twins to Riyadh was completed smoothly, confirming his trust in the medical team led by Advisor to the Royal Court, Supervisor General of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) and Head of the Medical Team Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Rabeeah. It is worth noting that the Mauritanian Siamese twins represent the 108th case from 22 countries studied at the Saudi National Program for the Separation of Twins. If the medical team approves the separation operation of these twins, this operation will be 49th case in one of the biggest programs for separation of conjoined twins in the world.
