Advisor to the Royal Court and Supervisor General of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabeeah announced the successful operation of the Libyan Siamese twins separation (Ahmed and Mohammed) at King Abdullah Specialist Children's Hospital of King Abdulaziz Medical City of the Ministry of National Guard in Riyadh, explaining that the operation which lasted 14 hours and consisted of 11 stages has culminated in success. In his own name and on behalf of the team members, the Chairman of the Medical and Surgical Team Dr. Al-Rabeeah expressed his deep thanks and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense for their unremitting support to the National Program for the Separation of Siamese Twins. He also said that this operation is the 48th one for the separation of Siamese twins witnessed by the Kingdom within three decades. For their part, Bashir Othman Al-Juwaili and his wife, the parents of the Libyan Siamese Twins, extended their thanks and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and HRH the Crown Prince for their quick response to their Siamese twins separation operation, appealing to Allah Almighty to reward and assist them for all their giving and help of Muslims and those in need.
