Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Bilad newspaper said in its editorial that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has hosted and supported the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) for its role and goals in promoting solidarity, joint Islamic action, and facing Islamic nation's challenges. The paper said that OIC, which is considered the second largest international organization after the United Nations, celebrates the 50th anniversary of its founding, with a large accomplishments and achievements on all issues. Okaz and Al-Yaum newspapers said in their editorials that the educational opportunities announced by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for Saudi male and female students to study cultural and artistic specializations in the most prominent international universities is a qualitative advance in the framework of the comprehensive development witnessed by the educational-cultural sector in the Kingdom. The paper added that these educational opportunities include the study of archeology, design, museums, music, theater, filmmaking, literature, visual arts and culinary arts, and embody the leadership's keenness to develop capabilities in the cultural sector.
