Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Riyadh and Okaz newspapers said in their editorials that Saudi-Russian relations have been witnessing qualitative developments, since four years ago, in many fields and sectors, topped by politics and economy. The papers added that improving these relations made the Kingdom as the largest foreign investor in Russia. Al-Yaum newspaper said in its editorial that the arrival of President Vladimir Putin in Riyadh in his second visit to the Kingdom for 12 years has indicated the growth of these relations in addition to their reaching an unprecedented levels between the two friendly countries. Al Bilad newspaper said in its editorial that President Putin confirmed in a statement before his arrival in Riyadh yesterday that his country considers the Kingdom Saudi Arabia as a friend and pivotal country in the region and the world, as well as its positive and efficient roles in many important and critical issues.
