Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO) represented by the National Measurement and Calibration Center has obtained the membership of the Asia Pacific Metrology Programme (APMP), following the acceptance of the Center as an associate member of the Organization. This membership supports SASO's mission in affirming the Kingdom's leadership in all fields, and helps to participate effectively in relevant committees and international organizations. The membership of the Asia Pacific Metrology Programme (APMP) allows the participation of the SASO's staff in the meetings of the specialized technical committees of APMP in various areas of measurement and calibration, and participation in international comparisons, which will help to raise the scientific and technical level of national cadres.
