The Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO) has announced new additional regulations for different products to be registered on Saber electronic platform, in order to be allowed to enter the Saudi market. This comes as a part of its plan to elevate the standards and the quality of the products. The new products to be registered include textile, detergent and other products related to solar power systems. SASO also explained that Saber electronic platform makes things easier for beneficiaries; suppliers and owners of local factories to obtain certificates of conformity and consignment for the products in order to register them on Saber, which will facilitate the products entrance to the Saudi market.
