Lt. Col. Shaker bin Sulaiman Al-Tuwaijri, the media spokesman of Riyadh Police, said that at 8:00 pm on Monday, November 11, 2019, the security forces dealt with a case of stabbing attack against two men and a woman of a theatre group during their live presentation of an event on the stage of King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz Park in the Malaz district in the center of the capital Riyadh. The culprit was seized immediately after storming the theater and was arrested (an expatriate of Yemeni nationality), aged 33 years. The weapon used in the attack (a knife) was seized in his possession. Medical care was provided to the injured who suffered superficial wounds and their health was stable and are receiving necessary medical care. He was arrested and all legal procedures were taken against him.
