The Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Dr. Yousef bin Ahmed Al-Othaimeen has received a message from Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov congratulating the OIC on its 50th anniversary. The Russian minister praised constructive and fruitful relations between the OIC and the Russian Federation, stressing his desire to continue the bilateral partnership between the two sides that serves international peace and security. For his part, Dr. Al-Othaimeen thanked the Russian Foreign Minister for his congratulations, stressing the OIC's keenness on strengthening dialogue, understanding and cooperation with its partners, praising the strong relationship between the Organization and Russia as an observer in the organization.
