Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Dr. Yousef bin Ahmad Al-Othaimeen has received at the headquarters of the Secretariat General of OIC Russian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, who is also permanent representative of the Russian Federation to OIC Sergei Kozlov, it was reported today. During the meeting, which took place yesterday, they discussed a number of issues of common concern, affirming the need to maintain periodic bilateral consultations between the two sides, underscoring the importance of developing areas of cooperation and exploring new ways to strengthen the ties between the Russian Federation and the Islamic world.
