The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has confirmed the implementation of its international commitments on the advancement of women, including the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women, the determination to work with international and regional mechanisms to follow up on charters and participate in reviewing achievements at the national, regional and international levels, and aligning Vision 2030 with the sustainable development agenda of the United Nations. This came in the kingdom's speech during the Third Committee meeting to discuss the advancement of women (26), within the 74th session of the United Nations General Assembly, which was delivered today by member of the kingdom's permanent delegation to the United Nations, First Secretary Noura bint Abdulaziz Al-Jibreen. In the speech, she highlighted the major reforms in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the field of the advancement of women.
