The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has affirmed that its vision 2030 and 13 programs are in line with the goals of sustainable development. This came in the Kingdom's speech at the United Nations yesterday during the general discussions of the Second Committee of the 72nd session of the United Nations General Assembly delivered by the second secretary of the Permanent Delegation of the Kingdom to the United Nations Mohammed bin Issam Khasha'n. He said that the Kingdom has worked on two tracks to implement Sustainable Development Goals Plan 2030, whereas the first track is to establish an accurate governance to follow up the implementation of the plan, while the second track focuses on developing its national development plans (Kingdom's Vision 2030) and integrating them into sustainable development goals. Khasha'n added that the Kingdom's vision and its 13 programs, such as the National Transformation Program 2020, the Government Restructuring Program, the Project Management Program and other programs and indicators are in line with the goals of sustainable development. He stressed the Kingdom's commitment to achieve sustainable development goals at the national level and to continue in cooperation with its partners to accomplish these goals at regional and international levels.
