A plane bound for the Irish capital Dublin was grounded for four hours on Sunday at France's Lyon-Saint-Exupery airport after a bomb alert on board, local authorities said. The Boeing 737 belonging to IslandsFlug of Iceland had 146 passengers on board, flying from the Balearic Islands in Spain. The flight was rerouted to Lyon in southern France after the discovery in a toilet of a piece of paper with "Bomb 11 September" written on it. The passengers were evacuated and questioned by air transport and border security officials. "The plane was scanned. Nothing suspicious was found," a spokesman for the local government said.
