A Southwest Airlines plane from Dallas, Texas, landed in Houston on Friday after a written threat was found on the plane, airport and Homeland Security officials said. Homeland Security department spokesman Brian Roehrkasse said Southwest Flight 21 landed after a threatening note was found on the plane. Another official said a passenger turned in a note saying there was a bomb on board the plane, Reuters reported. The Boeing 737 with 136 passengers and five crew on board was diverted to an isolated section of the airport. All passengers were safely evacuated at Houston Hobby Airport, an airport spokesman said. Bomb-sniffing dogs and law enforcement officials were examining the plane and officials were questioning and screening passengers, Homeland Security officials said.
