The Saudi Arabian Airlines (SAA) attained in 2003 the highest level of revenues since its establishment 60 years ago. The revenues rose by 40 percent compared to the revenues attained some years ago. SAA's Director General Dr Khaled bin Bakr said the Saudi Arabian Airlines was able to attain this achievement despite big problems facing the global aviation industry and $20 billion losses incurred by international aviation companies. Highlighting the bright future of the Saudi Arabian Airlines, Dr Bakr said the national airliner is expected to transport this year as many as 15 million passengers.
