Secretary General of the International Maritime Organization (IMO) Kitack Lim has received copy of credentials of Lieutenant Commander Isaam Al-Amri as the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's permanent representative to the IMO in London, in presence of Saudi Charge d'affaires in London Saud Al-Hamdan. In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), President of the Public Transport Authority Rumaih Al-Rumaih affirmed that the maritime transport sector receives unlimited support from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, adding that this appointment reflects the Saudi leadership's keenness to consolidate its leading status at the level of the international community as the Kingdom is IMO member since 1961. He stressed that the Kingdom is keen to abide by all international charters and agreements of the maritime transport.
