Dr. Jubarah Eid Al Suraiseri, The Minister of Transport will leave here for London tomorrow to visit the headquarters of the International Maritime Organization (IMO), a specialized UN agency during which he will sign Djibouti Code of Conduct (DCC) at the IMO headquarters. The DCC deals with repressing acts of piracy and armed robbery against ships in the western Indian Ocean and the Gulf of Eden. He will also have a meeting with IMO Secretary General Efthimios Mitropoulos. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is an active IMO member since 1969 through its tangible contribution to various committees of the Organization. Last November, Saudi Arabia was elected in IMO's Council for the 4th time in a row. The Minister of Transport will be accompanied by the Under-Secretary for Transport, Dr. Abdul Aziz bin Abdul Rahman Al Ohali, and a number of officials of the ministry.
