The General Authority for Meteorology and Environment Protection forecasts the weather for today to be thunderstorms accompanied by active dusty winds in the regions of Riyadh, Makkah, Al-Baha, Jazan, Najran, and Asir. It is expected to be a significant decrease in temperature accompanied by active surface dusty winds in the regions of Riyadh, Tabuk, Al-Jouf, Northern Borders, Madinah, Makkah, Hail, Qassim, and the Eastern Region. The Authority's report states that the surface wind movement in the Red Sea is northerly-westerly at speed 18-45 km, while the surface wind movement in the Arabian Gulf is southeasterly at speed 15-40 km.
