The General Authority for Meteorology and Environment Protection forecasts the weather for today to be partly thunderstorms accompanied by active dusty winds in the regions of Riyadh, Hail, Tabuk, AlJouf, and Northern Borders. The weather is expected to be partly cloudy interspersed with thundershowers in Asir Highlands, Al-Baha, Makkah and Madinah regions; while there are dusty winds in the regions of Najran, Eastern parts of the south-western highlands and the regions of Makkah and Madinah. The Authority's report states that the surface wind movement in the Red Sea is northerly-westerly at speed 20-42 km, while the surface wind movement in the Arabian Gulf is southwesterly at speed 15-40 km.
