The General Authority for Meteorology and Environment Protection forecasts the weather for today to be partly cloudy interspersed with thundershowers and light winds in the regions of Riyadh, Eastern Region, Najran, Jazan, Asir, and Baha. The Authority's report states that the surface wind movement in the Red Sea is northerly to northwesterly at speed 15-40 km, while the surface wind movement in the Arabian Gulf is southwesterly at speed 10 -30 km.
